Four slices, four kids, and the one with less cinnamon always notices. Flavor Press gives every slice the same measured ¼ tsp — and a five-year-old can press the button themselves.
How it’s made
- Toast the bread until just golden. Spread each slice edge to edge with butter.
- Sprinkle the sugar over the slices.
- Press ¼ tsp of cinnamon over each slice in one slow pass, so every slice gets exactly the same amount.
- Add a pinch of salt. Return to the toaster oven or broiler for 1 minute, until the sugar bubbles.
Option: make a batch
Skip step 2 and the separate cinnamon. Mix it once, keep it in Flavor Press, and every slice is one press.
- Stir the sugar and cinnamon together until the color is even. Fill Flavor Press with the mix and close it.
- After buttering, press 2 tsp of the mix over each slice in one slow pass. Finish with salt and broil as above.
